The Cabin Cafe

For The Cabin Cafe, tonight proved to be an amazing Fundraising Event at the Appalachian Clubhouse in Elkmont.  

Artist Kimberly Bylo & Chef Robert (pictured), as well as volunteers Chava, Randi & Kathy showed the attendees a truly special service of wonderful comfort foods, with The Cabin Cafe’s gourmet flare and recipes.

The Cabin Cafe owner, Duane Langley was proud to feed such wonderful donors to such a wonderful cause.  As he said, “The park is the reason that we are all here.  We should ALL be Friends of the Smokies.”  As he added, “It’s also the ride home that has few rivals in “driving wonderful-ness” (yes, he specifically chose those words) and makes the trip towards Cades Cove even that much more exhilarating to anyone wanting to patronize the newly renovated Appalachian Clubhouse in Elkmont and the park in general.”

After only four months, The Cabin Cafe has become one of the premiere restaurants in Gatlinburg, TN.  Currently ranked #4 out of 169 restaurants in Gatlinburg, The Cabin Cafe continues to grow and include more “seats, services & sandwiches.”  If you are ever in Gatlinburg, TN – do not miss this treasure.

The Cabin Cafe in Gatlinburg, TN is Now Serving Breakfast.  We are extending our hours to 8:30am to 6pm – 7 Days a Week!!!  

In addition to our extremely popular Quiches, we are serving Omelettes, Cereals, Oatmeals, Bacon, Eggs, Ham, Fruits, Juices, Home Fries, and much more.  So come on down to 600 Glades Road in Gatlinburg, TN and start your day at The Cabin Cafe!

We are so excited here at The Cabin Cafe on Glades Road, that the Locals and Tourists alike have been incredibly supportive.  We have been open for about 3 months and we are developing a strong reputation that we work 7 days a weeks to keep and build on.  This morning we were rewarded with support, once again, by moving to the #5 Best Restaurant in Gatlinburg (out of 172 Restaurants)

The Cabin Cafe is now offering pizza, and we are calling it The Pioneer Pizza.  We make a yeast-less pizza dough, and cook the pizza in a cast iron pan.  We make a 7″, a 10.5″, and a 14″ size pizza.  In the past few weeks or so that we have been offering it, our customers have been very pleased with the taste and texture of the more ‘bread like’ crust.  Please feel free to share your Pioneer Pizza story if you have eaten at The Cabin Cafe in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

The book about birds that one of our regulars lent us, said that our Robin just MIGHT have another turn at laying eggs in Her nest (a.k.a. our hanging plant on the porch of The Cabin Cafe in Gatlinburg, TN)  Well, we are happy to report that she is back and has laid – ANOTHER 3 Eggs.  We hope to watch another 3 little birdies fly across the street to the hill.  Check us out at VisitTheCabin.com
